Piranha Grappling Systems is a grappling belt system being used by GRIT MMA. Developed by Dennis Davis, this combat system fuses the core techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Judo, and Catch Wrestling. Tailored for MMA and real-life self-defense, Piranha combines the precision of Jiu-Jitsu’s submissions, the power and control of Wrestling’s takedowns, the leverage and throws of Judo, and the aggressive holds of Catch Wrestling.

The emphasis is on creating a strong, adaptable foundation that allows practitioners to seamlessly transition between grappling styles, making them effective in any scenario. Whether in a competitive MMA match or a real-world self-defense situation, Piranha Grappling Systems equips fighters with versatile and practical techniques. See our MMA webpage for detail.
